Jeff Morreale - Sovereign Shirts Founder
Jeff is an artist, designer, photographer, and entrepreneur whose work is rooted in faith, creativity, and service.
Sovereign Shirts was born from a deeply personal journey through illness, healing, and renewed faith. After facing severe health battles, including autoimmune disease and a brain lymphoma diagnosis; Jeff experienced both the support of community and what he believes to be God’s healing power in his life. Through those trials, he felt called to fully dedicate his creative gifts to serving others.
Jeff’s mission is simple, create designs that uplift hearts, inspire courage, and help lead others toward faith, hope, love, and salvation in Jesus Christ.
Today, Sovereign Shirts exists as an expression of that calling: encouraging believers, strengthening faith, and bringing hope to people walking through crisis.
For Jeff, Sovereign Shirts is more than apparel; it is faith lived out through creativity, generosity, and purpose.
Jeff's Battle With Cancer
Sovereign Shirts was founded by Jeff Morreale. He wanted to use his talents of art and design to give back to others. As he had received financial support through his battle with cancer and an auto immune disorder, IDB ulcerative colitis.
In October of 2022 Jeff had a diagnosis of a brain tumor Lymphoma Cancer. After brain surgery he suffered with damage to his neurological connections. On his right side he could move his leg but wasn't able to walk. His arm, and hand were paralyzed for 4 weeks. He started chemotherapy, at Roswell Park Buffalo NY, in October and was inpatient receiving treatments for 4 months.
He received a miracle from God and was healed of cancer, and gained movement in his hand, arm, and was walking with a leg brace and cane after rehabilitation therapy.
Since then he's had significant gains and is still working hard in therapy and praying for a full restoration. While committing his life to serve God fully, and give to people who are suffering through creating the Sovereign Shirts Community!
JEFF'S BATTLE WITH IBD
Jeff also suffered for 16 years from 1997 to 2013, with auto immune disorder IBD, ulcerative colitis. After praying to God for year he was finally healed and in remission from 2013 to the end of 2016.
At the end of 2016 in December he had a major flare up, with lots of bleeding. He was put on steroids from the doctor. He couldn't eat much, and dropped 50 lbs. of muscle mass in a month. He was skin and bones, weak, couldn't walk up stairs, only could take a 20 minute walk a day, and had to lay down all day. He was in and out of the hospital, with heart issues, a seizure, and almost died of dehydration. All caused by the steroids.
During that time he came back to his faith in Jesus, and by God's direction was led to a church on his street to a healing ministry, unknown to him, who prayed with him weekly.
After praying with faith and hope for 4 months in March of 2017 he was healed of the bleeding but wasn't fully recovered till December 2017.
Since 2018 he's had little trouble and was healed by faith in God. He's thankful for the family, friends, and ministry who supported and prayed for him through it all.
